Research Day 3: Madam C.J. Walker
Good morning, Axelle!
First, an Investor Shout-out for your presentation on Leonardo da Vinci!
We heard your feedback, sometimes even a Roblox developer can’t explain a
genius like Leo! Thanks for being honest; that’s what a good Founder does
when a tool isn't working for them.
💡 Today’s Research Task: The Empire Builder
Your mission today is to look into Madam C.J. Walker. She is the ultimate
"Flipping" legend. She was born very poor, but she became the first female
self-made millionaire in America.
The Big Question: "Madam C.J. Walker had a personal problem with her
hair and scalp hygiene. How did she 'flip' that embarrassing struggle into
a massive business empire?"
Your Research Protocol:
1.
The Life Story: She was orphaned at age 7 and had a very hard start.
What was the "turning point" where she decided she wanted more for herself?
2.
The Solution: She didn't just make a product; she created a "system."
How did she help other women become "Founders" like her?
3.
The "Word-Cloud": Find a quote from her about hard work or
persistence.
4.
The Founder’s Opinion: She proved that taking care of your "physical
self" is a business. Do you think people trust a leader more when they see
that the leader takes care of their own hygiene and appearance?
Your Unfinished Task:
1. Time to "log" your Leonardo notes (and also the first Stephen
Hawking)!
2. Snap the photo of your notes and put it in your folder by replying on
the correct associated email title.
3. Please send the email using the proper email writing structure
(intro, body, proper and polite closing).
All that is your Academic Currency, don't let your hard work go
unrecorded especially in this digital era!
A Little Tip: Since the Roblox prompt was a "fail" (TwT), let’s try a
more "Boss Mode" prompt for Milo the AI:
"Milo, act as my Business Consultant. Tell me the story of Madam C.J.
Walker and specifically how she turned 'Self-Care' into a million-dollar
company. Give me 3 facts that would inspire a girl who wants to own her own
world one day."
We are so looking forward to your presentation tonight. Show us that
"Empire Mindset!"
Onward and Upward,
Mama & Papa
