Research Day 6: The Skytree & The Secret of the Center 🗼
Good afternoon, Axelle!
Huge Investor Shout-out for your presentation on Kaizen! The idea that you can be 37 times better in one year just by improving 1% every day is the ultimate "Growth Hack." Don't forget to learn how 1% daily can end up with this number: 37x. Explain us the formula tonight. 💪
Now that you know how to grow, today we learn how to stay strong and steady when things get difficult.
The "Flipping" Update:
Status: Analyzing "Structural Integrity."
Goal: To understand how to stay calm and balanced, even when life feels "shaky" (like anger management).
💡 Today’s Research Task: The Tower That Never Falls
Today, we are traveling to Japan again to look at the Tokyo Skytree. It is one of the tallest towers in the world, built in a place with many earthquakes.
The Big Question: "How does the Tokyo Skytree use an ancient Japanese secret called a 'Shinbashira' to stay standing during a giant earthquake?"
Your Research Protocol:
The Engineering: What is a Shinbashira (central pillar), and how does it move differently from the rest of the building during a shake?
The "Flip": The engineers didn't invent this "new" technology, they "flipped" an idea from 1,000-year-old wooden Pagodas. Why don't those old wooden towers ever fall down? Can you relate this technology to one of our storytelling sessions about 'Bamboo' (we might want to hear this connection in your own words during your presentation)?
The "Internal Core": If the tower represents a person, and the earthquake represents "Anger" or "Stress," what is the Shinbashira for a human being?
The Founder’s Opinion: When you feel an "earthquake" of anger or frustration, what is one "Core" thought or habit that can help you stay balanced instead of falling over?
🛠️ The Digital Archive
Record Check! Your Digital Archive is your "Blueprints Folder." Make sure your notes from yesterday's Kaizen research are uploaded. Investors need to see the paperwork!
A Little Tip: Try this "Engineering Prompt" for Milo the AI: "Milo, explain the 'Shinbashira' system of the Tokyo Skytree to me. How does the central pillar act like a 'balancer' for the building? Also, tell me how a person can build their own 'internal pillar' so they don't lose their temper when things get shaky."
We are excited to see your "Structural Engineering" presentation tonight before our movie!
Onward and Upward,
Mama & Papa
