The Gecko's Sticky Superpowers 🦎

Good morning, Axelle!

Hope you're ready for another awesome adventure—this time into the world of the gecko, the lizard that can climb walls and hang upside down on glass! 🧗‍♀️✨

The Big Question: How does a gecko stick to smooth surfaces without any glue or suction cups?

The Mission:
1. Discover the secret of the gecko's feet—look up 'setae' and 'van der Waals forces' and explain how they work.
2. Find out why geckos can stick and unstick so easily, and how scientists are using this to create cool inventions.
3. Imagine you're a gecko: draw or describe 3 places you'd love to climb that seem impossible for most animals!

Did you know? A single gecko foot has about half a million tiny hairs, and each hair splits into even tinier spatulae—so small that they can bond with the molecules of the surface! 🤯

Have fuuuun!!!

Onward and Upward,
Mama & Papa

P.S. Bonus: Can you find out why geckos lick their eyes? 😉
Done — great work! +15 Robux 🎉
