Research Day 74: Leonardo da Vinci – The Art of Being a Curious Polymath 🎨🚁🐉
Hey Axelle!
Yesterday, we stepped into the glowing laboratory of Marie Curie to learn
how curiosity melts away fear. Today, we are opening the leather-bound
notebooks of the ultimate multi-passionate mastermind in human
history: Leonardo
da Vinci.
Most people know Leonardo as the master artist who painted the Mona Lisa.
But if you traveled back to 15th-century Italy and asked Leonardo what he
did, he wouldn’t just say "painter." He was an anatomist, engineer,
botanist, musician, sculptor, optical scientist, and inventor of
fantastical flying machines!
Leonardo was a Polymath—someone whose curiosity is so huge that they
