The Mysterious Moeraki Boulders

Today we're traveling to New Zealand to explore the Moeraki Boulders – giant, spherical stones scattered along a beach. They look like alien eggs!
The Big Question: How did these perfectly round boulders end up on the beach?
The Mission:
1. Discover how these boulders formed millions of years ago.
2. Learn about the Maori legends that explain their origin.
3. Find out why they are considered a geological wonder.
Did you know? Some of these boulders weigh several tons and are up to 2 meters in diameter!
