The Sky That Looks Fake
Good morning, Axelle!
We found a photograph that looked like a painting, and it turned out to be a real place in Australia. Today we’re chasing one of the strangest weather wonders on Earth.
The Big Question: How does a cloud turn into a rolling tube?
The Mission:
1. Find out where and when Morning Glory clouds appear, and which bay in Australia is famous for them.
2. Draw a simple diagram showing how the cloud rolls like a wave.
3. Why do glider pilots love them so much?
Did you know? These clouds can stretch over 1,000 kilometers long and move like a slow, silent freight train across the sky.
Have fuuuun!!!
Onward and Upward,
Mama & Papa
